Terms of use
Version 1.1, effective from November 1, 2026
1. Purpose
These terms govern access to and use of Scribe, an automatic transcription platform for professional meetings, available at scribeapp.eu and published by Reverdin Solutions, a sole proprietorship (Partita IVA IT17458801002).
2. Access to the service
Registration is open to adults and legal entities. Access requires a Scribe account. Users sign in with Google or Microsoft, an emailed link or a password. Users are responsible for the security of their account.
3. Service description
Scribe provides:
- A bot that joins online meetings (Microsoft Teams) through automatic invitations
- Automatic transcription of meeting audio
- AI-generated summaries and action items
- Synchronisation with Google and Microsoft calendars
4. User obligations
Users agree to:
- Inform participants in every meeting of the recording bot, in accordance with Article 226-1 of the French Criminal Code and applicable laws
- Obtain participants' consent before recording
- Refrain from unlawful or fraudulent use or infringement of third-party rights
- Comply with the Microsoft Teams terms of use
5. Liability
Reverdin Solutions takes reasonable steps to keep the service available (target: 99% monthly availability), without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. Reverdin Solutions is not responsible for the contents of transcripts or the user's use of them. Users alone are responsible for complying with legal obligations relating to recording meetings.
6. Intellectual property
Users retain ownership of their data and transcripts. Reverdin Solutions claims no rights over meeting content. Users grant Reverdin Solutions a limited licence to use this data solely to provide the service.
7. Termination
Users may delete their account at any time in settings (Data & account). Deletion immediately removes associated data, except the organisation's audit log, retained as evidence until the organisation is deleted; the deleted user's identity is anonymised. Reverdin Solutions may suspend an account for breach of these terms, with 48 hours' notice by email except in an emergency.
8. Changes to these terms
Reverdin Solutions may amend these terms. Users will be notified by email or an in-app notice 30 days before changes take effect. Continuing to use the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Applicable law
From November 1, 2026, these terms are governed by Italian law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution. Failing this, the courts of Rome (Tribunale di Roma) have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer residing in another European Union Member State, this choice of law does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I), and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your domicile (Article 18 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).
